Diagnostic work
Standing retention advisory
Monthly working sessions after a diagnostic, reading new cohorts, festival weeks, and experiment windows against the canvas you already have.
RM 2,200 per month, three-month minimum · One 75-minute session each month, plus written notes within four working days
Return in a habit product moves slowly, then all at once — a school holiday, a fasting month, a new reminder time. A diagnostic is a still picture. The standing advisory is how we keep reading the same canvas as the weeks change.
It is deliberately small. We do not sit in your stand-ups. We do not take a seat in your issue tracker. Once a month you send the export, we mark what the last four weeks actually did to the cohorts you already named, and we spend 75 minutes deciding whether a change you shipped helped the second completed ritual or only the open rate on a reminder.
This is the wrong engagement if you have not yet agreed what week zero is. It is the right one if the diagnostic already ended an argument and you need someone outside the building to notice when that argument tries to return.
- Who it is for
- Teams who have finished a diagnostic with us and now ship changes to the first-week ritual or to logging.
- What you leave with
- A continuing, dated reading of return — not a retainer that quietly becomes unused hours.
- Scope
- The same product and canvas as the diagnostic. New rituals need a fresh diagnostic or a scoped add-on.
- Who does the work
- Usually Aina Rahman. If a month is a workshop-heavy month for the studio, Wei Jun Tan covers with the same canvas.
- Where
- Video, unless you are already in Ipoh.
- What you prepare
- The diagnostic must be finished. We will not start an advisory on a canvas we have not drawn.
- Limits
- Three months minimum, then month-to-month. If you skip sending the export twice, we pause rather than invoice for empty sessions.
- Fees
- RM 2,200 per month. A second product is a second advisory, not a discount bundle.
Included
- One 75-minute session per month on Malaysia time
- Written notes with the cohort cuts we used that month
- A short hold on email questions about the current canvas (we answer twice a week, not on demand at midnight)
Not included
- Being copied on every product thread
- On-call coverage during launches
How the work proceeds
- You send the month’s export three working days before the session.
- We mark new cohorts and any festival or exam week that landed in the window.
- We meet, argue, and write down what you will change before the next export.
